Falmouth enjoys a balanced mix of boating interest, the old town, which still maintains it's working seafaring atmosphere and the adjacent beaches which provide for the younger element.

The location at the Fal estuary gives access by land or sea to some of the most attractive areas in south west Cornwall. You have flushing, Mylor, St. Mawes, Malpass, Truro and the expanse of the Hellford River, all accessible by pleasure launches.

The Roseland Peninsula, The Lizard, St. Mawes, Turo, Mousehole and St. Michael's Mount are all within a short drive.
